Perhaps the most recognizable symbol of the village is the bridge connecting the eastern end of Bayville to Mill Neck and the Long Island mainland. Throughout the years, the Bayville Bridge was constructed and rebuilt on four separate occasions, and through each new development, another generation of residents contributed their personal bit of heritage to the structure.
