Author Bio
Kelly Hartman was raised in Silver Gate, Montana, having attended K-8 grade at the one-room schoolhouse in Cooke City. She was the first director of the Cooke City Montana Museum, from 2014 to 2016. In the summer of 2016, she began work as the curator of the Gallatin History Museum in Bozeman, Montana. She is the author of A Brief History of Cooke City (2019), Murder along the Yellowstone Trail (2020) and the forthcoming Wicked Bozeman (2022), all published by The History Press
