Patricia Harper Garrett is a sitting Florida Democratic committeewoman for Precinct 802 and has had her roots in Richmond Heights since 1956 while an elementary school student. As a fourth-generation school educator, she retired from Miami-Dade County Public Schools after 35 years of service. Born and raised in Richmond Heights, Jessica Garrett Modkins's career has evolved into that of a modern-day renaissance woman. Her mastery of several disciplines has led to successful careers as an executive in broadcast news, consumer marketing, and the music industry. This mother-daughter duo made preserving the historical details of Richmond Heights their mission.
