Author Bio
As a Northwesterner herself, Gina Marie Mammano knows all too well that Christmas looks a whole lot different under sopping-wet, flannel-grey skies. In Freeland, Washington, where she lives with her husband, the evergreen trees that are used as Christmas decorations dot the landscape all year round! Mammano's work as an author, poet, musician, and spiritual-retreat leader has deepened her appreciation of the natural wonders and coastal quirkiness of the Northwest. She enjoys spending her holidays with her three grown children--drinking hot coffee and wearing cozy flannel shirts.
Animals and their treasured humans are illustrator Cynthia Kremsner's kind of people―she peppers the stories she illustrates with extra characters to add humor and personality. She studied graphic arts and drama at Santa Rosa Junior College, and national dog rescue organizations have used her illustrations as logos and images for special events. Kremsner lives in Sparks, Nevada with her husband, two musical children, and three dogs, so you can bet that her holidays are filled with plenty of songs and lots of love.
