Author Bio
Author Jillian Rael is a Moore County native. She has worked to have local and national attention brought to historic buildings in her hometown of Mulberry through the National Register of Historic Places and writings on her blog, Dots on the Map. As a photographer, Rael has participated in numerous individual and collaborative shows. She is a strong advocate of historic preservation and has taken her enthusiasm to various conferences in Tennessee and Alabama. Rael is currently completing a master's degree in public history at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
