Many images in this volume have been drawn from the collections of the Melrose Historical Society, the Melrose Fire Department, and the Melrose Public Library, as well as the private collections of Mr. Pagano and other residents. Through his research of these vast archives, Anthony Pagano has produced two books destined to bring back memories and enliven interest in the fascinating heritage of Melrose.
