Terry Shoptaugh

Terry Shoptaugh is a professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He is the author of a book on the sugar beet industry in the Red River Valley and numerous articles on Minnesota and North Dakota history. He is currently working on a book about a North Dakota businessman who helped German Jews immigrate to the United States in the 1930s.

Fargo, North Dakota, and Moorhead, Minnesota, have existed on opposite sides of the Red River of the North since 1871.
