Inez Robichaux Pecot provides the vivid stories, in both English and
French, of the scenes on the backs of the cards. These colorful stories feature
not only the well-known Cajuns, but "a melange of grisly breeds,
presumably descendants of Jean Lafitte's pirates," as well. They also
reveal how "pranksters tied cow bells to the nuptial bed springs."
With Cajun Primitives Notecards, it is quite easy to see just how
hard working and fun loving Cajuns really are!
