Author Bio

Christopher Alan Kennedy is a historian who loves learning about his home state, Louisiana. His first book, Louisiana Tech’s Joe Aillet, published by The History Press in 2022, is a biography of the namesake of Louisiana Tech University’s football stadium. A 2023 Louisiana State University graduate with a master of library and information science degree and a two-time Tech alumnus, he was part of a team that catalogued museum items at the USS Kidd Veterans Museum and removed items from the destroyer to prepare for the ship’s departure for renovations at a Gulf Coast drydock. When he’s not working, he’s most likely running, hiking, hanging out with friends and family or getting ready for fantasy football or March Madness.
