Author Bio
Ernest A. Taft is the town historian of Bellingham and has served on the Bellingham Historic Commission since its inception in 1972. He was a coauthor of the Bellingham bicentennial book in 1969. A descendant of the Taft family of Mendon, he has deep New England roots.
