Kathleen A. Swann, PhD, is a descendant of West Greenwich's early settlers and grew up exploring its woods on her family's tree farm. She gathered images from the extensive West Greenwich Historical Society archives housed at Louttit Library and from local families' collections. Kevin A. Breene is the West Greenwich town administrator and a dairy farmer. He was a six-term Rhode Island senator and served as president of the West Greenwich Town Council for 12 years.
