Clarke is a special education teacher in Glendale, California, as well as the daughter of the late Regina Denton-Drew, a former photographer and cigarette girl at Ciro's during the 1940s and 1950s. Using photographs from her mother's private collection, Clarke has compiled the pages of this book to reveal the stars and their larger-than-life personalities during the golden era of Hollywood as they joke, laugh, mingle, relax, and are entertained at Ciro's Nightclub.
