His writing has been published in the Detroit News, Michigan History Magazine, New York Times, Hour Detroit and more. Mr. Loomis was born in Detroit and lived for a number of years in the North Rosedale Park neighborhood in the city. Mr. Loomis now lives in Ann Arbor with his wife and children.
