Roxie J. Zwicker grew up in western Massachusetts and has always been intrigued by local history and ghost stories. One of the first stories she collected was about the haunted Victorian house beside her grammar school. Traveling down back roads and learning about the unique character and characters of New England is one of her favorite things to do. She is the owner of New England Curiosities, a tour and event company located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She started doing ghost tours in Carver, Massachusetts, in 1993 and has been doing tours along the seacoast since 2002. Roxie has been featured in national magazines and newspapers, from Better Homes and Gardens to USA Today. She has also filmed with New England Cable News, the Travel Channel and the History Channel.  Besides Haunted York County, she has also written Haunted Cemeteries of New England, Haunted Portsmouth, Haunted Pubs of New England and Haunted Portland.
