Filmmaker and photographer Robert Burrill, author of the Images of America volume Milpitas, has teamed up with Lynn Rogers, author and illustrator of several books including Born in Berkeley. Using images gathered from public and private collections, they guide readers through these eddies of time, from a once boisterous past, to the charming bohemian village bordering a wildlife refuge that is Alviso today.
