As a feature writer for Gateway Newspapers since 1997, Zandy Dudiak has long written about the history of Monroeville and the surrounding communities. She has received numerous awards for her work and in 2006 her series of articles on the history of Larimer Avenue in Pittsburgh's Little Italy garnered the Golden Quill Award. Zandy has established good relationships with the local historical societies over the years.
