Barney Blalock is the great grandson of pioneer settlers to Tillamook County. He was born in central Oregon, raised in Yokohama, Japan, and finally came to settle in Portland. After working on the Portland waterfront for thirty three years inspecting export grain for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Barney retired to a life of writing and web management.
