John Boyanoski spent a decade covering the city of Greenville (and other beats) for the Greenville News and Greenville Journal before opening his own public relations firm in 2012. A winner of numerous journalism awards, he is the author of three other books and is active in the community. Knox White has served as Mayor of Greenville since December 1995. As Mayor he has the goal of making the city of Greenville the most beautiful and livable city in America. He has emphasized neighborhood revitalization, economic development and transformational projects for downtown.  He is a native of Greenville.
