Mary Pat Kyle worked as a reporter and as Coastal Editor for the Delmarva News for 15 years, covering local town meetings and writing features. She has received multiple Delaware and Maryland Press Association Awards. She was formerly the mayor of Fenwick Island as well as the President of the Homeowners Association. She has a BA from the University of Maryland and a MA from the University of Delaware.
