Compiling Legendary Locals of Rutherford County was a labor of love for Dr. Anita Price Davis. A Rutherford County native, Davis and her husband divide their time between Ellenboro and Spartanburg, where she taught 36 years at Converse College. In her eighth Arcadia Publishing title, Davis hopes to capture and share some of the county's giving spirit.
