Rochester native Florence Horne Smith has worked many long hours with other volunteers in the extensive archives of the Rochester Historical Society to compile this wonderful collection. It is the author's fondest wish that this new book will awaken memories of a different way of living for the older generation, and introduce the young to how life used to be.
