As Atlanta celebrates Gay Pride on the July 4 weekend, two local authors are marking the event with the publication of a new book, Gay and Lesbian Atlanta ($19.99, Arcadia Publishing). Atlanta History Center curator Wesley Chenault and former AHC Historical Journal editor Stacy Braukman collaborated on the book after the success of the 2005 AHC exhibit The Unspoken Past: Atlanta Lesbian and Gay History, 1940-1970.
